Wow. The story jumping on an adult and serious matters all of a sudden. That's unexpected. But awesome. I can't wait, I want to know more about that!
I don't get that line in the middle panel, is it like "I don't care if there's no will living!" Or is this something about adult life I'm naive to?
A "Living Will" is a document that tells the hospital how you feel about "extraordinary efforts" to revive you should you die. In other words, it contains instructions on when to stop trying to bring you back to life.
Or you could wind up with a living body and a dead brain. QUITE distressing for the relatives. :(
Now that I've looked again at the comic, I think that call is the hospital trying to get Sean to tell them what to do about their patient. And that responsibility can feel crushing.
