Hope you like the new look of our page. Our characters got a little apocalyptic about it, but they'll get used to it soon enough :D
I'm still building a few parts of the page (yeah, basically all the new parts) and Dana is still editing every single strip to fit the new look, but I think it was/is really worth it. We also ditched a few things, e.g., our blog (RIP unused blog) and the right skyscraper ad.

This brings me to one of the biggest new features: the donate button. First of all, we're not starving, and we really don't want to appear that way. Now that we've got this out of the way, as a part-timer and an apprentice, we'd still be very grateful to be treated to a coffee or if Dana would get some new pens to draw the comic with.

If there are any issues with the page or if you just really like it, just drop us a comment, we always appreciate it.
See you on Friday :)

Are the buttons supposed to cover the white heading text? I'm on Firefox 24.0. Same with Chromium.

Definitely not, just saw that using adblock scrambels a part of the css because the navigation is normally pushed down by the ad. I'll look into it, thanks :)
EDIT: Should have fixed the issue, please tell me if it's still doing any strange stuff.

New site looks nice and simple. Doesn't get in the way of the comic (not that the old one really did).

What did you use to make the site?

Dana designed the new look in Photoshop and I told her in which pieces to chop it. I then used the best part of 3 days to figure out how to use html and css for the things I wanted to get done with almost no prior knowledge of both. Firebug (a free Firefox plugin) was a really huge help, editing code live and instantly seeing if an idea will work and how it will look probably saved me a whole additional day. Google and an endless trial and error (on a second comic I created and used for this so that our page wouldn't look horrible for days) were everything else I needed. Yes, our code probably looks horrible to people who really learned how to do this, but it works, and I'm fine with that ^^,

It fulfills it's purpose. That's really all that matters. Good job guys.
