Doing this comic was really strange. I'm having a lot of back problems recently and decided to change the setup of my workspace to strain my back and neck a bit less. Right now I'm trying the Bobby Chiu approach, having my cintiq flat on the desk, looking straight at my monitor and only rather briefly down to do the more tricky details. It feels bit wonky, like using a tablet for the first time, having less control over what I'm doing, so I'm a lot slower to achieve the kind of lines I want to. It's not really obvious (I think), but let me know if you notice some quality differences I should be aware of.
I hope you had a great Halloween, see you all on Friday!
Don't worry, it looks great as always.
It might be a bit strange at first but if it helps your back and neck, that's what is important. :}
Thank you, Diem <3
There's crying and then there's crying like a nutcase.
