There is more than one reason we teamed up to create this webcomic together.
We already did a few projects together, some even won prices.
We like to spin tales together.
We both read webcomics and really like this way of telling stories.
And for the love of Raptor Jesus on a hoverbike I can't draw.
Edit: We have a guestcomic at www.girlswithslingshots.com today!
You should check out her comic if you didn't already, it's great :)
To everyone visiting from her site: Hi :D
Strength in numbers!
Read trough the whole comic at once - amazing work! I really do like it!

Found this through GWS, and I've already read through it all... I'm definitely adding it to my bookmark list. The storyline is fun and the art is flipping amazing!
Now that I've come here from GWS you won't get rid of me!
Omygoodness! Your art is spectacular!

Ditto about liking and finding it though GWS
Yeah another GWS reader who loved the guest strip and then read the archive. It's nice to add another strip to my reading line up.
I'm liking the art in this one, and mystery chameleon is a nice (sub?)plot.

How often do you update? You just got another returning customer! :)
We update twice a week, tuesdays (in about an hour as I write this) and fridays :)
Just another visitor from GWS, and I really love your comic! It's very charming and funny and I'm really excited to read more. (^◕ω◕^)
Arrived here via your guest strip on GWS (which was just great!) I'm SO glad I found this strip early enough that it didn't take me too long to read the entire archive! Well worth it. It's in my rss feed now. Keep on doing what you're doing.
I read a lot of webcomics (including GWS) as is, so I don't exactly go looking for new ones -- but when one as good as yours crops up as a guest shot, I can't resist. So, I echo the sentiments of the other GWS'ers (particularly Ana, Karyl, and Neil). I also want to ask, where might one find some of the "other projects" you two have done before?
...Vescar/DeNada, of all the strips I read, the one I recommend you not only read but do a guest shot at -- once the GWS readership spike settles down ;) -- is "Sidekick Girl". Use the direct dot-net url, the old comicgenesis site is hacked, poisoned beyond redemption, and has been abandoned by the artists.
We did three eight page entries for the german manga contest 'Manga Magie' (two ranked in fourth place). If anyone's interested I could search for scans of those, if enough people are interested I could translate them as well. And never heard of the comic, but will check it out soon :)
I don't know much German, despite having spent ~2 years there with the US Army. Learned enough to puzzle out road signs and imbiss menus -- talk to me in it and I'm lost ;) But for what I can't read, there's Google Translate, Babelfish, and similar online services...
Linked in from GWS, LOVE your comic! Cuba is adorable! Plushies for everyone!
Also a new reader from GWS, Love the comic... was sad there wasn't more!
Wow. I just spent my day reading through the archives instead of working (ok, ok - it's not THAT big an archive, drat it) and like the rest, I'm bookmarking it and looking forward to how it goes from here.
The art is quite nice, ranging from "interesting" to "staggering" and I'm quite enjoying wondering about Cuba's history. He's going to become my favorite animal sidekick since Speedy the panda (from A Girl and Her Fed, if the reference went "boing...")
You know, it's got to be very helpful to land a guest strip on either GWS or QC - it always amazes me how many people stop to comment that they arrived because of the link under the guest strip. You are successful in your own right, please don't mistake me - but I suspect you just acquired several thousand new readers all in one go. Which CANNOT be a bad thing (unless it crashes your host server.....)
Also at random - the various avatars of the posters here are really REALLY nice - are they self-generated or something? Usually when I'm reading comments, all the avatars are grabs from some webcomic that appealed to the writer. But all of these look unique and original.
Thanks. While several thousand might be a bit much, we got much more positive response than we dared to hope for :) And the avatars are user generated, Comicfury is nice enough to just let you upload anything (and they are a great free webcomic host in general).
nice comic, really enjoying it, came here from GWS, read through the whole archive in 1 go, keep up the good work
GWS....A violent assault on an innocent man's genitals. Yea, really funny. Shame on you.
This is turning into a full-time job for you, isn't it, Matt?
As long as he's not getting paid for this... :D
Kam über GWS hierher, netter Comic!
