This took way too long, sorry for the ultra-late update.

It was our second entry to that manga contest. One colour cover and seven b/w story pages are sometimes quite hard to adjust a story to, at least for me. This actually is an improved version, the original was way more corny and made us (especially Dana) cringe hard enough for me to rewrite huge parts of the text. We both like this version much better, so you'll never see the old one :P

Regular comics will resume on Friday and the last manga will probably be translated next week. Sorry to everyone who doesn't care about the manga, it'll be over soon :)
See you on Friday!

Seems like the pilot to Pushing Daisies.

Yeah, I thought so, too; uncannily like the premise for Pushing Daisies. I wonder which came first...

Pushing Daisies came a bit earlier and clearly influenced me quite a bit. Watched the first few episodes and was a bit sad they gave him his gift just like that. Sure, his mother died because of him, but only because she was already dead. I always thought twisting those powers would create a far more interesting character, someone who would involuntarily kill everyone he or she touches. When Dana asked me for a story in which the main character kills everyone she touches, this was all I could think of :)

Haha, I understand the effort it takes to adjust a story to just 8 pages. In my case, I had to do it in 6 + color cover (but that´s beside the point).

I love, love LOVE that last phrase.
So powerful, decided, egoistic, it's so shockingly true. I would, too.
There's more, yes? (:

That last line is real powerful. It was built up really well! Great work! :D

Love this! The art work is beautiful and poignant. The writing reads like a poem.
